I've done a lot, so it's tricky to pin me down. But this is my strength. You could say I'm multi-faceted - like a diamond.

HIGHER EDUCATION - GRADUATION & IC CONTRACT

This was a short-term contract role to support two under-resourced teams - The Graduation Events Team  and Comms,

I delivered a strategic review of Internal Comms at the University. This will form the basis from which to launch a strategic shift. In addition, I supported the Graduation Events team across all aspects of delivering a series of six graduation ceremonies - focus areas were graduand comms and marketing asset management.

ACCOMMODATION MANAGER
- THE CORONATION

It was an honour to be involved in this high profile, prestigeous event. A fast-paced, intense project managing accommodation for approximately 400 event staff.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE, EMEA

Aug 2021 - Dec 2021

In this short contract role I implemented the foundational processes for the internal communications function, by establishing fundamental planning processes and making incremental improvements to existing processes.

I used creativity, and organisational skills to delivered regular and ad-hoc comms - including Covid-19 updates - to colleagues in the EMEA region. Strong analytical and project managment skills enabled me to assess existing channels, scoped potential solutions and developed new channels and identify gaps in stakeholder input.

​

I used stakeholder management and influencing skills to establish new relationships and strengthen existing relationships. I ensured that the internal comms function had impact and influence, and I advised key senior leaders (COO, Director of Risk and Compliance, Head of EMEA Diversity, Senior Managing Directors). My strong technical and project skills came to the fore advising the legal team on their Sharepoint intranet site overhaul.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION BUSINESS PARTNER

Sep 2018 - Nov 2019

I was the voice of a Digital Transformation change programme - a CRM migration obliged by an external party, and internal change driven by the need to improve, rationalise and streamline.  I worked across the organisation to ensure that users were aware of the changes being made and understood when and why they were being made.  I juggled the demands of stakeholders against tight and immovable deadlines, a staffing freeze and competing and ever changing priorities.

In addition, I managed a small team of technical specialists who delivered reporting and technological tools.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (DATA)

Jul 2015 - Aug 2018

I led colleague engagment for the data department, ensuring that colleagues were informed and supportive of change initiatives including GDPR implementations.

​

I proactively led a number of cross-departmental change projects and established new targeted communications channels which created dialogue about current and pipeline projects. Many of the processes that I implemented are still used within the business.

CORPORATE FUNDRAISING ADMINISTRATOR

Jun 2012 - May 2014

Initially an administration support role for Account Managers and New Business Managers, but I soon took responsibility for managing a large portfolio of 500+ small corporate fundraisers with a combined annual income of £480,000. This required strong communication and stakeholder management skills, high levels of organisation, efficiency and the ability to switch quickly between tasks.

A large part of my role involved generating creative and engaging content for new business pitches, quarterly newsletters to smaller corporate partners (Mailchimp), website updates (Umbraco) and writing and scheduling social posts (Hootsuite).

A model colleague who’s compassion and care for her teams are only seconded by her ability to deliver flawless projects.
Skilled at delivering training, analysing and communicating business needs across multiple platforms...
